Improving Control
The Delivery Toolkit improves control by :
Providing transparency so that people can do their jobs. The status of every document or process is immediately apparent and individuals receive automated status reports showing them all that is required.
Providing control so that only the appropriate people can perform certain tasks or view certain information. For example in the case of the Purchase Requisition Manger application the approval of requisitions can be controlled by value, cost centre and function in a very secure and robust manner but with enough flexibility to deal with real world situations
Allowing managers to identify and manage difficult cases by exception rather than being faced with wither managing all or none of the cases. For example in the case of the Activities Manager it is very easy to see which people are on top of their activities and which are overwhelmed.
