XPages is a new technology introducted to Notes / Domino in version 8.5
XPages allows us to much develop web based Lotus applications with real "Web 2.0" functionality. In real terms this means that it is now possible to cost effectively build web applications which are first rate and can be used as powerful business tools.
This Wiki and our Ticket system are both built on Xpages and run in the Amazon EC2 cloud.
XPages also allows us to take a SAAS or appliance based approach to providing Domino based applications to your users. We can convert existing Notes and Domino applications from Notes to the web re-using much of the existing code and so the reducing costs of migration.
